Couples & Family Counseling:
$175 per 50-minute session  –or–  $250 per 80-minute session*

*I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots in the case of financial difficulty. Please inquire if you plan to pay cash and need a reduced rate.

Payment Policies:
Please note that payment is due at or before the time of service. I take cash, check, or card. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a fee.

Insurance:

I am a preferred provider with:

  • Aetna (currently accepting)
  • Cigna (not currently accepting)
  • Moda (currently accepting)
  • MHN/Health Net (not currently accepting)
  • Pacific Source (currently accepting)
  • OHP Pacific Source or Healthshare (requires pre-auth)

I am also an “out-of-network provider” on many insurance plans. Please consult your insurance directly to see if they offer reimbursements for out-of-network providers. You will need to pay in full at the time of service and I will provide you with an invoice or Superbill for insurance reimbursements to be sent directly to you.

When contacting your insurance company, please ask the following questions:

  • “Do I have mental or behavioral health benefits?”
  • “What is my deductible and how much of it has been met?”
  • “Is Robin Lorraine Storm, LPC a preferred provider on my plan?”

If so:

  • “What is my co-pay for seeing a preferred provider?”
  • “How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?”
  • “Do I have to get pre-authorized approval before I start therapy?”
  • “When is my renewal date?”

If not:

  • “How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?”
  • “What is my co-pay or coinsurance for seeing an out-of-network provider?”
  • “How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?”
  • “Do I have to get pre-authorized approval before I start therapy?”
  • “When is my renewal date?”

Please note that you, not your insurance company, are ultimately responsible for payment. Health coaching is not a service covered by most insurance companies at this time.
